Yes, there is a connection between the disgraced Corzine cabinet member Joseph Doria and Lou Magazzu:
BRIDGETON — Cumberland County has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the state Department of Community Affairs to hire a full-time shared services coordinator.
The coordinator will pursue projects in which municipalities pool their resources in Cumberland County and projects in which other counties share their resources with Cumberland County, according to Freeholder Director Lou Magazzu, who accepted an oversized check Monday from DCA Commissioner Joseph Doria Jr.
The news is rife with stories of corruption that permeates North Jersey. it is interesting that only one scumbag Republican was nabbed in this interstate sting that included the illegal trafficking of human organs, money laundering and bribes. The FBI had this to say about the Democrat controlled state:
“New Jersey‘s corruption problem is one of the worst, if not the worst, in the nation,” said Ed Kahrer, who heads the FBI’s white-collar and public corruption division. “Corruption is a cancer that is destroying the core values of this state.”
It is disheartening to see North Jersey corrupt money filtered into Cumberland County. It is bad enough that Cumberland County has been bought lock, stock and barrel by the corrupt Camden County Norcross machine, but to see the tentacles from Newark, Bayonne and Jersey city wrapping around our county is inexcusable.
