On August 2, Eyes Everywhere posted a blog titled “More County Incompetence” that related frustration at inability to access the county website, which was apparently offline.
Brought to our attention is a March 31 article in the AC Press by Dan Walsh titled “Cumberland County’s Web upgrade makes public information accessible.”
The article touts the wonderful website upgrades, which cost the county $45,000. Lou is quoted a saying, “Tremendous thought and effort was put into selecting the Web page design company, QScend Technologies Inc…”
QScend is based in Waterbury, CT.
If the county was going to waste money on an improved website that doesn’t work, couldn’t the money have been wasted in Cumberland County?
