Republicans keep up the pressure on Lou’s NACo-Gate slush-fund

This just in from PolitickerNJ.com:

More Questions On Magazzu’s NACo-Gate Slush Fund

By Steve Kush

Millville – In light of Cumberland County Freeholder-Director Lou Magazzu’s NACo-Gate controversy Cumberland County Republican freeholder candidates Rick Tonetta, Tom Sheppard and Sam Fiocchi said the questions Magazzu needs to answer keep on coming.

“Now we have Lou Magazzu telling the Atlantic City Press that ‘Bob Greco lives in the gutter,'” Republican freeholder candidate Rick Tonetta said. “That’s just another lie, I happen to know Bob’s wife would never allow him to live in a gutter. Lou must be upset because every time he says something about NACo-Gate more questions come up.”

“Someone needs to tell Lou Magazzu no one on our side of the aisle is trying to make this a ‘gutter campaign,’ no human being could ever stoop as low as his Cumberland County Democrats did last year.” GOP freeholder candidate Tom Sheppard added. “Magazzu’s comments are nothing more than him trying to deflect attention from the real issue in this situation, his NACo slush fund and a release of all the information. On the surface all the missing information, at the very least, gives the appearance that Lou Magazzu could be ethically challenged. Only he can change that perception.”

“The latest information missing with regard to Magazzu’s NACo slush fund appear to be the documents pertaining to the loan he received from the Cumberland County Democratic Organization,” Republican freeholder candidate Sam Fiocchi said. “If the loan that Magazzu told the Atlantic City Press he had the authority to approve wasn’t made on July 17th, two days after the organization’s last ELEC report was filed, we probably wouldn’t have to ask.”

Fiocchi asked, “What were the terms of the loan? Who signed the check? Who wrote the loan agreement? Who signed the loan agreement? Was it a personal loan or was the loan made to Magazzu for NACo?”

“These are all fair questions that combined with answers to yesterday’s questions will go a long way to putting this whole ugly incident behind us. Lou Magazzu owes the voters of Cumberland County answers to these questions,” Fiocchi said.

Now we know the first thing Lou’s minions will scream is that this is Republican propaganda. Hey guys, if YOU had been doing your job and policing your own organization, ensuring that ALL rules were followed, and that there was NO appearance of impropriety, there would not be an issue.

Lou is crying like a baby that anybody would DARE use his own tactics against him. Lou, all’s fair play in love and politics. You have never once given it a second thought when you tried to destroy a person’s livelihood or reputation. Ain’t karma a bitch?

Just cracked reading Tonetta’s comment about how he knows ” Bob’s (Greco) wife would NEVER allow him to live in a gutter”! May be the funniest quote of the campaign! What do you think Bob? Still waiting for answer on fundraiser boxing match?

  6. tryagain says:

The real scary part is “what” does Greco want this time if he is able to elect a few Republicans?

  7. Rev. Higgs Boson says:
