Lou’s Making Headlines

The NACo-Gate investigation made the Atlantic City Press. They always said Lou likes being in the headlines, we are happy to oblige.

Magazzu lost his run but raised about $80,000 for the campaign, which ELEC and Federal Election Commission officials said earlier this month does not fall within their jurisdiction. As County Democratic chairman, he approved the county party’s granting of $10,000 to his own campaign, despite it not being for public office.

Magazzu also received a $5,000 contribution from Gov. Jon S. Corzine in August, despite the election having taken place in July, and Magazzu continued to pay bills until September, according to data he provided to The Press of Atlantic City.

The story also made the Daily Journal and the News of Cumberland County. Of the three articles, the News had the most well-rounded article. Matt covered both sides well, with nice detail.
