Magazzu Trails in Latest Poll

An insider just gave us this information – a recent open poll (that is a non-push poll where the interviewer tell lies about non-candidates such as the one that Magazzu funded recently) has some interesting results.

Likely voters are giving the independent candidates Jane Christy and Jen Swift about 15% of the vote, Lou Magazzu gets around 20% and the Republican candidates across the board are at 30% to 50% depending on the candidate. This poll is based on 6,000 voters questioned throughout the entire county.

They were not informed about who ordered the poll until the open questions were answered.

Lets wait till the election to cheer. More work must be done.

Anyone who would begin to believe this story must be smoking something!! No way ANY one taking a legitimate poll would poll 6000 people in Cumberland County. These numbers are NOT EVEN appropriate for the Governors race!! Just more CRAP from the King of Crap aka Eyes Everywhere!! No numbers for Sheena, Sanford, Peterson, or the other Republican candidates or the other Democratic candidates!! Have not spoken to a single individula who participated in this bogus poll. Could it be because it NEVER happened?

  4. Sheena Santiago says:

    Try again,
Thank you for the reminder, I almost forgot to copy and paste again.

Who was the elected official that owed $10,000.000 to Connective/Atlantic Electric after the city of Vineland bought the debt?

Any other citizen would have been disconnected but he had preferential treatment.

How many millions of dollars did Magazzu make as city of Vineland solicitor during 4 years?

How many hundreds thousands of dollars did one of Magazzu’s employers make as bond council while I was a councilwoman in Vineland between July 2000 and June 2008?

Have a wonderful and blessed day my dear tryagain.

I hope the polls are right, in that Cumberland’s Mr.
MaGoo is heading for defeat (Mr. MaGOO is Lou Magazzu, of course). It gives me an opportunity to toast his ouster with a Bellybuster from an unnamed restaurant near my home if that holds come NOv. 4.

  6. DUMP the Maggot says:

Gregory, I will be there to toast the ouster of MaGOO with you.

  7. Rev. Higgs Boson says:

From the people I talk to, this poll seems fairly accurate. Most people just laugh if I ask them if they are voting for magazzu.

  8. Calhoun says:

While the trends seem accurate — Rs leading, Ds splitting the vote — tryagain1 has some valid points. First, 6000 is a pretty big sample size for a freeholder election in Cumberland County. In recent elections, freeholders have actually been elected with about 12,000 votes — barely twice the poll’s sample size. Also, while I know a number of people who took the Democratic push poll a couple of weeks back, I know of no one who took this poll. Let’s hope some who were polled chime in. Also any poll is likely to underestimate the vote-by-mail folks who the Dems are no doubt targeting. This new feature is the wild card of this election. Anybody have any info on where the mail-in ballot requests are coming from? The Press on Sunday reported that Noto’s office was receiving 400 requests a day. That is an extremely high number, and unless the requests are near 50-50 between the Rs and Ds, the Rs still may find themselves coming up short on election night.

  9. dipsy doodle says:

What poll? Who’s poll is this? A little more information please

  10. millvillemagnus says:

I’m wondering if 6000 is the correct number. I had heard earlier of a poll of 600, which would be an adequate number, if scientific sampling techniques were used.

  11. slappythedoorman says:

Have to agree with Magnus. They added a ZERO..I think

  12. CryinShame says:

I want to get polled! Why don’t they call me?

Who did pay for the poll? What was the clerk breakdown? What issues were strong? Which R leads the hunt?

  13. SalarySam says:

6000 would be a huge number for a poll for a county office but let’s not hang Eyes for a typo.

Besides it seems like Lord Lou has been “poling” us for years.

  14. Sell me a bridge says:

I received a call on Saturday (maybe it was Sunday) from “Bill” who identified himself as a volunteer with the NJ GOP. He asked if I received my vote by mail application and when I told him I prefer to vote at the polls he asked who I was supporting for governor, to which I replied anybody but Corzine. Then he asked about the Freeholder race and I think I made him happy because I told him I was supporting the Republicans.

I have never been registered under either political party so they are definitely calling independents.

  15. The information was given in a hurried conversation, so I may have added a zero… possibly it was 6,000 called, and 600 responses? That would seem about normal, 10% that didn’t hang up…

The poll called R’s, soft D’s and independents/undeclared, as I understand it.

  16. Byelou says:

    Lou, Tryagain,

    Waa…Waaa …Waaa.
Let’s see what the voters do to you in a few weeks.
Then, you can go to your buddies who paid you all that money, and ask them for a job. The union guys won’t help you, and the decent people won’t help you, so you’re going to be one of those out of office politicians who is looking for a job.

  17. Guess-Who says:

The WORD out on the streets is NOT L{.}{.}King Good for Lou & the Crue.

Seems like everyone I TALK to says NO WAY can this group of Freeholders stay in Office for another Term.

It is always interesting to read the posts by try1. i especially enjoy the very true statement he uses when he closes a lot of his posts…”Magazzu and Co.” the “Co.” refers to his running mates we would assume. However, Co. is an abbreviation for company, as in corporation, as in boss and employees. Lou is boss with nothing but employees… Company may also be interpreted as “I invited company”, meaning guests…this is also true in Lou’s world…you are only a guest until he is done with you and moves on to another unsuspecting individual. Yes, Try1 is correct…”Magazzu and Co”…”Boss and employees” or “Host and Guests”…even try1 points out what this site has said all along…
