Lou Lies About Creating Jobs

Cumberland County NJ unemploymentOne of the lies we have heard from the Lou Magazzu camp concerns job creation in the county. If Louis is creating jobs, our unemployment rate would be receding, not growing.

As you can see from this graph, Cumberland County has been echoing the New Jersey unemployment rate (ERS/USDA data), about 2 to 3 points higher.

In twelve years, Team Lou Magazzu has failed to successfully tackle this problem. in fact, Nelson Thompson and his unions continually give jobs to Philadelphia and Camden County union members, while Cumberland County workers stand in the unemployment line.
