Gems Buried in Comments

Occasionally there are gems buried in the comments of our posts.  This one is too good not to offer its own posting.  It’s a new spin on what’s going on with the CCIA.  Now let’s see if this prediction materializes.  It’s almost beyond belief, but then again, Lou never ceases to amaze.  Thanks, Deep Throat.

Magazzu claimed the CCIA was losing money some years ago. He wanted to sell it to a group of investors. The county CFO went and reviewed the numbers. The report proved the CCIA was in good financial shape.
Magazzu was furious and threw the report at the CFO.
He was ordered to never go to the CCIA without his express permission.
The CFO resigned.
Magazzu is now setting up the sale to his investor friends that he could not accomplish some years ago.
Should be very profitable to Magazzu & Rainear.

It should be noted that Rainear is NOT an employee, either of the county or of the authority. He is acting as a consultant.

The question now is – have any papers been signed that would stop Rainear and/or his consulting company from profiting from any extracurricular or future actions concerning the CCIA?

  2. Guess-Who says:

The Authority (C.C.I.A.) can NOT just be Sold to Investors because Someone or a Freeholder WANTS to or would like to.

    Wuli:
    Who will Benefit from this ARRANGEMENT;
The Consulting Co. or the Individual?
should there have been NO Agreement.

Could the $10,000 NACo CONTRIBUTOR be the one?
What kinda business is IT again that the Mullica Hill based Co is in?, You know the one that gave Lou Magazzu Ten Thousand Dollars for NACo

What type of Business would you say that C.C.I.A. is?
A Landfill Operator would be the Correct Answer!

L{.}{.}K at this very Closely & Don’t wait for them to SPIN IT to their Advantage.

L{.}{.}K to the Right side of this Page to Find the ANSWER as to WHO the NACo $10,000 Contributor IS!

Who was the CFO that left????

  4. abondroit says:

Magazzu, Veight, and Rainear suddenly claim the CCIA is not financially sound. I wonder how many union members have been hired in the last six months.

  5. Deep Throat says:

It was Gerald Neski. He now teaches others to be CFO’s
and reviews county & municipal budgets for the state.
More interesting abondroit is the timing of the discovery of the financial problems at the CCIA.
The CCIA has a project labor agreement in place prior to the election. This guarantees that the work will go to the construction trades. The trades work hard to re-elect Magazzu.
Now that the election is over, the sudden discovery of financial “problems” at the CCIA allow Magazzu to pull the carrot of all those union jobs away.

  6. JamesRSauro says:

Deep Throat is correct it was Gerry. Lou in 2001 wanted to sell the CCIA to get the money then. He wanted to do it without telling Deerfield Twsp. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

  7. Deep Throat says:

I must correct the last name , it is Seneski not Neski.
Jim, I Believe Magazzu had a connection to a company that was willing to pay according to Magazzu, $50,000,000.00 for what he deemed a money losing operation. Sad that the newspapers have no memory in their coverage of issues.

  8. JamesRSauro says:

Well Deep Throat you are right on both issues again. I just figured you miss typed his name. The 50 number is right on the mark. I was there. He had all kinds of ideas on how to spend the money. There is a long story behind all of this. Too long for this blog.

  9. Oystercracker1 says:

….wonder if Magazzu’s “Mystery Buyer” is still interested… Might be a good deal after all. But then again, Lou has been known to stretch the truth from time to time, hasn’t he?

  10. WuLi says:

Deep Throat – you said “Jim, I Believe Magazzu had a connection to a company that was willing to pay according to Magazzu, $50,000,000.00 for what he deemed a money losing operation.”

Was that by any chance TruStone? Lou had a close relationship with TruStone. My sources inform me that the principal of TruStone is wanted in a half dozen states for pulling the same scam he pulled in Cumberland County with Lou’s full cooperation.

I am still digging into the particulars on this, any info would be helpful. I vaguely remember a few news paper articles, and then it just *disappeared*.
