What happened at the County?

April 1, 2010 I posted an article by the same title.

Oh rumors, oh rumors!

All three newspapers have been asking the same question – what happened at the county yesterday?

Word has it that subpoenas were delivered to the Health Department and the Administrative Offices.  One of the thing s being subpoenaed were certain email records. I wonder what gems might be found in Lou Magazzu’s emails?

We are on top of this story.  The first subpoenas were issued over two weeks ago in Vineland, apparently, and now they hit Bridgeton.

I understand that this original post really raised eyebrows. We learned the following day that The Manor had documents subpoenaed. Names that have been mentioned frequently in my recent investigations into public mischief appeared in the Press article:

Freeholder Director Lou Magazzu directed inquiries to Kavanagh, whom Magazzu assigned to be part of a three-man committee overseeing the collection of the documents for state authorities. County Administrator Ken Mecouch and Public Safety Director Jim Matlock will join him in that supervisory role, Kavanagh said.

There will be more on this as I get the info. The email records that were subpoenaed are of particular interest. I OPRA’d one of those emails, and the county responded and told me that email record doesn’t exist. I mailed off three more OPRA’s today.

It’s funny I quite buying the local papers I get more from this web site than i get from the local media. If only u had the weather each day u probably would have Cumberland news close the doors sooner. Jack and Matt r so beholding to the dems it is a real shame. One things for sure the dems r sh__ing themselves.

It seems like high times being a county employee in Cumberland based on all these investigations you have going on. This Caselli woman is running around profiting off of patients in the county nursing home on county time…on the county dime.

The 911 call center sounds like a mess and God knows what else will be unearthed as you probe more. The real question is, why is it left to a local blogger to investigate these crimes and not law enforcement? Where are the agencies that are suppose to protect the public and the tax payer dollars that fund this corruption?

If there was an investigation into the Manor and what she was doing..what happened? Why was this woman allowed to do what she did for all these years? Why are county employees having personal rendezvous when they should be working? All of this being allowed to happen in the poorest county in the state.

The people should wake up and start demanding answers. You have your work cut out for you!

Why are all of you people so surprised that government workers show up late, leave early and accomplish little while at work? This isn’t a Dem or Repub problem, it’s a government problem. It’s the system that stifles creativity and the fact that no one has to make a profit to survive assures that employees are protected forever. Pushing more of these people out and on to unemployment isn’t really a solution. The pols need to figure out how to affect the physical environment and set rules to support those who actually try to succeed.

Certain people in positions of authority do need to be held accountable. The time clock issue is only the tip of the iceberg – there is the issue of an entrusted employees stealing patient confidential information in order to profit. This employee embezzled her mother, and the Freeholders knew this information, and still sat and did nothing.

Unquestionably consider that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared
to be on the internet the easiest factor to consider of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed whilst other people consider concerns
that they plainly do not realize about. You managed to hit the
nail upon the highest and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can
take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
