About

MWatch is a non-partisan political watchdog group focused on tracking and reporting the abuses of power practiced by the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders.  This board seems to have forgotten that they were elected to serve the people, and not to profit their own power base.

MWatch is a news website – publishing the news that the “real” local media for some reason or another chooses to ignore. MWatch is a web based subsidiary of Inferno Newspaper, of Cumberland County, NJ.

Louis Magazzu, former head of the Cumberland County, NJ, Democratic Party and the former Cumberland County Freeholder Director was once the leading power broker in the area. Under his tenure, he built a regime. The remnants of that regime remain entrenched in county government.

He plaed hard-fisted politics and took no prisoners. That would be okay except for the fact that his campaign contributors and supporters seemed to receive special privileges. County money was frequently funneled to his friends, while other organizations are left out. And that continued even after his resignation.

Our mission is to report on every word and deed of that regime, to reveal the dirty underbelly of Cumberland County politics.  And also to serve as a caution to the Republican freeholders that if they sink to such low levels and abuse their power, there are people watching.

    Amen. Keep it up!!

  2. harry truman says:

What a joke this entire site is, filled with half truths and rumors and sometimes just pure falsehoods. Would be nice if you truly checked out your facts. Get a life!!

  3. Facts? Are you claiming that Lou did NOT do his best to humiliate Linda Forbes in a public meeting? I have FOUR accounts of that night from FOUR people, and all are in agreement. Also – it was on video! Those of us that saw the broadcast were appalled!

Are you claiming the news stories we post are false? Talk to the News, the Daily Journal, and the Atlantic City Press! We just point to what they print.

Are you claiming the memo we posted is false? Then talk to Gary Simmerman. his name is on the copy of the memo we scanned and posted.

Are you claiming the videos we posted of Lou Magazzu talking are false? You are giving us much more credit for a talent we don’t have than we deserve. George Lucas is the master master of special effects, not us!

My guess is that you are a Magazzu lackey trying to do damage control. You had better monitor this site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After all, this is Magazzu Watch. And we are watching everything!

  4. harry truman says:

Your guess would be WRONG. But you lose all credibility with your personal attacks on people. This is a pure politcal site attempting to oust certain elected officials and not citizens concerned about doing anything positive. Seems like a bunch of cry babies who would love to lynch those who disagree with them.

  5. Authorizing the refinancing of Sept.20,2001loan issued to Shiloh Community Development corporation for $41,627 @3% to be paid in full by Sept 20 2003. Well on Nov.15 2004 the loan was written off. This is a loan from The Cumberland County Empowerment Zone.Rev. James Dunkin was the Chairman of that board in 2000.Agrant was given to the Shiloh Babtist Church for job reddyness for $126,633.I asked Freeholder director Lou Magazzu If that money given for job reddyness ever produced anything. He said on 92.1FM with Steve Tatz about 2 weeks before the election that he would address it. I’am still waiting.

  6. Harry says: “Seems like a bunch of cry babies who would love to lynch those who disagree with them.”

First of all Truman was a great man, and I take offense that a Lou Magazzu apologist would use his name in vain as an online ID! I am sure Truman would disagree with Lou’s politics of destruction.

Second – your line about lynching those who disagree is the perfect description of Lou. His attitude towards anyone that would dare disagree with him is the sole reason for this blog.

Linda Forbes dared to ask a question at a Freeholder Meeting and was quickly attacked verbally by both Lou Magazzu and Joe Riley. Their behavior was reprehensible, abhorrent and inexcusable.

I disagree with a lot of people and their stances, and have never felt moved to create a website. However, since Lou insists on quelling all dissent of his rule, this blog became necessary.

Notice that only after this site was created has Lou talked about including “ALL” people and is now pretending to welcome open debate? You cannot claim that is coincidence.

  7. harry truman says:

This whole site is offensive. It serves no constructive purpose. It is intended only to belittle those with whom you disagree. Why not do something constructive like put your name on the ballot and quit hiding behind this website. If your ideas (if you even have any other than criticizing others) and your answers to some of these overwhelming problems are so easy step forward and do something. Easy to sit on the sidelines and complain or profess to know solutions. Quit hiding and moaning about everything wrong and place your name on the ballot. Take off your dress, put down your marguerita and try and be a man for once. There must be a set between the bunch of you.

  8. Gina says:

I think your blog is great and I take it as a legitimate source of information. Everyone is entitled to opinions and yours are supported by fact. You are doing a good thing here in letting people know what’s up.

  9. Truman, our own forum troll, says: “This whole site is offensive. It serves no constructive purpose. ”

The purpose of this site is to expose the lies of certain politicians. Your name is offensive. The real Truman said “The buck stops here.” With Magazzu – it is always pass the buck. he refuses to take responsibility for anything that has happened under his watch as leader.

A real leader accept responsibility and then fixes the problem. Our hope is the one day Lou will live up to his role, and become a leader.

Mark Krull, a dedicated democrat was assaulted by Lou in a public meeting, and accused of being a “spy”. From that day forward, Lou lost a person that whould have more than likely been a supporter.

Linda Forbes questioned the spending of money by the Freeholders without any RFP – to organizations with no mechanism for accountability. To any reasonable person, that is not an off the wall question. in a public forum Lou spoke to her in a derogatory manner, and he and Joe Riley tag-teamed her with verbal abuse. that is the sort of behavior we will expose.

Carl Johnson made simple mistake. He pointed out that Lou Magazzu’s “largest tax decrease in the history of Cumberland County” was actually a tax increase. For that Lou had Bob Austino call a press conference and lie to the public about personal family matters. For that, Lou said at a Kiwani’s luncheon one day that “Carl Johnson is the biggest problem in Cumberland County”.

I don’t know about you, but I think that unemployment, teen pregnancy, the gun and gang problems in Bridgeton and Millville rank higher than some loudmouth that just happens to want to speak his mind once in a while?

Who are these people that Lou is so afraid of them that he wants to silence them?

  10. harry truman says:

BLAH,BLAH,BLAH! Get off the sidelines babies and get in the game. Hiding behind this forum and criticizing is cowardly. Do something like putting your name on a ballot. The County is bigger than Magazzu but you are just obsessed with trying to embarass someone who is actually working. Quit whining, get a life other than attacking Magoo. Grow up!

  11. mango says:

The hope is that this site will encourage the opposition, which didn’t have a chance in the last election with the Obama landslide. Yes, we do need new names on the ballot. But, harry truman, that can’t be your real name. Maybe you’re hiding as well? You sound like one of those Daily Journal forum trolls who engages in incessant ad hominem attacks. Why not prove to us how great Lou is instead of speaking in generalities? After all, this website has been very specific in its criticisms of Lou…why not be just as specific in your advocacy, instead of attacking the people who are contributing?

  12. harry truman says:

The Obama landslide?, the opposition?, guess this site really is what it seems! Just a bunch of sore losers in the last election who are only attempting to unseat Magazzu. Perhaps “your team” shouldhave fielded better candidates than the sore losers you are so desperately alogned with. Did not Congreesman Lobiond win last election? Guess it may have not been such a landslide after all. Just maybe your opponents had better candidates, at least the voters thought so by the results. This is nothing more than a “sore losers” political site. Quit trying to represent yourselves as doing something for the public good. You are merely a small “merry band” of poor losers who do nothing but whine about Magazzu. Go get a drink, seems you need one.

  13. mango says:

umm..actually, I voted for Obama. I don’t think you’re worthy of responding to any more, since all you do is insult other posters and have no specific examples that are helpful in addressing the blog’s issue. Your type, is, I think, called a “troll” — someone who just hurls insults at posters and has little of substance to say. You must have had a lot of practice on the DJ forum, as your insults sound awfully familiar…or maybe you guys all sound alike.

  14. knotu says:

Majority of posters on here all sound alike. Just the “Let’s get Lou” bunch of whing do-nothings. Quit complaining and run aganst him in November . Sure the voters of Cumberland will see through your BS and whining ways and re-elect Magazzu who at least works hard for us.

  15. Instead of pointless flames and hurling insults with no substance, why don’t you expend some of that energy and share from your wealth of knowledge just exactly why Lou is qualified.

Explain why Lou should not have to be questioned or scrutinized when he is the most powerful person in the county? Tell us why we should just accept everything that he and his administration does,, without question.

While you are at it, please defend his actions for the tax decrease that turned out to be an increase. We posted the memo that PROVED the error was discovered and known about in March of 2008, and still Mr. Magazzu used the “biggest tax decrease” as campaign fodder. Yes, he allowed his people, our new freeholders to campaign on a TOTAL fabrication.

Please, respond with a logical argument about why we are wrong on this issue. Or any of the issues we raise. the fact is you can’t all you can do is hurl inane comments.

  16. knotu says:

Have not hurled anything except my lunch after reading this crap. Either you can’t read and understand my comments or you just try and change the direction of them. I have repeatedly said why don’t you and your little band of whiners quit watching the game and get in it. If Lou is so bad why don’t you just run against him in Nov. or don’t you have the conviction or intestinal fortitude to get in the game. Think your little group of whiners just enjoys sitting on the sidelines and complaining about every little thing Lou does. Maybe one of you will grow up someday and run onto the field but think you will probably sit on the sidelines and hide behing this political forum. No one with any guts in Millville?

  17. You say you “… have repeatedly said why don’t you and your little band of whiners quit watching the game and get in it. ”

You have no clue to whom you are talking, or if you do you are willingly twisting facts. This site in not just one person spouting off garbage. It is a project including many volunteers. Besides the writers you see, we have many people behind the scenes providing information and guidance. Many that were in the game up to their necks in Lou’s muck.

We have many silent contributors, providing documents and research to assist as we come out with our investigative stories.

Now if Lou is on the up and up, he would have no fear of this site. he would not be scrambling to have his people watch this site and comment daily.

We know where the traffic viewing this site is coming from.

You say – “If Lou is so bad why don’t you just run against him in Nov. ”

I can’t speak for the others – but personally I have no interest in putting my family in Lou’s sites. Lou’s politics of personal destruction are well documented. While the Republican candidates ran a clean campaign, sticking to issues, Lou took campaigning to a new low, attacking private citizens that dared to raise questions.

Second, I do not have the type of personality to be a politician. I am a more ‘behind the scenes’ sort of person. And despite your attempted slander about my involvement, anyone that knows me knows that I am deeply involved behind the scenes in many ways.

I use my abilities to get behind candidates that actually are stupid enough to want that job, or any elected office.

You can rest assured that those of us behind this project will fully support a candidate, or candidates for office. They may or may not be Republican, they WILL have integrity and backbone to stand up against Lou when he is wrong.

With Lou’s hand-picked administration, our fear is that there is nobody on that board that has the ‘balls’ excuse my French, to speak out when Lou is not acting in the best interest of the entire public.

Why doesn’t anyone speak out about Lou’s loans to the Reverend, now a freeholder, and all of those loans were defaulted. That is scary – where is accountability? There is certainly none with the current Freeholders!

My hope is that Whelan, the only one that deserves to sit on the board, has the ‘intestinal fortitude’ to stand up to Lou.

  18. knotu says:

Glad to see you agree with me that this site is just “spouting off garbage”, no matter how many, or should I say how few, of your little band of malcontents and “insiders” may be. Glad you admitted you don’t have any balls too. Certainly says a lot about the “millville bunch” of whiners. You should all just meet at the “Oar House” and cry in your beers since you have no plans to do anything constructive. As far as abilities to get behind candidates apparently you lack ability or skill to get your “guys” elected. Oh well keep crying yourself to sleep between now and November when you will cry even harder after the people of this County re-elect Magazzu. Your investigative studies are a joke. Maxwell Smart did better job than you guys are doing. This is like Cumberland County’s own National Enquirer magazine.

  19. mango says:

Magazzu Watch, forget about this trolling idiot. He or she obviously has absolutely nothing to say of substance about Magazzu. The only purpose of his or her remarks is to insult the contributors to this blog, not to conduct a rational discussion about what Magazzu has or has not done. In typical troll fashion, this writer is trying to inflame emotions and to make the blog writers angry. Knotu (or whatever name he/she is posting under at various times) is so insignificant and useless as to merit no attention whatsoever, let alone a response. If this person is on Magazzu’s payroll, heaven help him, if this is the best he can come up with in the way of a defender. On the other hand, it would really be interesting to have someone argue with good examples that Magazzu is in fact an effective leader. We may find out some good things he has done. Even so, I would argue that his fatal flaw is that he is mean. In the end, hurting and seeking to destroy people catches up with you.

  20. knotu says:

Still haven’t heard an answer to the fans of this National Enquirer about getting in the game. Will you sit on the sidelines forever and hide under your skirts or will you challenge Magazzu in November. Doesn’t anyone in Millville have a set? Or would you rather just “spout off more garbage” in this forum. Your words not mine. Grow up, get a life, or will you all just head back to the downtown Millville bars?

  21. We don’t take advice from anonymous trolls.

Our position has been made clear, unfortunately you are not literate enough to understand plain English.

Why don’t you come up with ONE, just one, substantive post in defense of Mr. Magazzu? Oh wait, you might actually have to think! We wouldn’t want that, would we?

  22. knotu says:

“Anonymous trolls?” , how funny when you skirts hide behind this anonymous forum but don’t have a set between you to challenge Magazzu openly or to run against him in November. Keep “spouting off this garbage” behind the guise of a non-partisan forum that is more political than anything else. Go back to the “Oar House” or “Bojos” where you spend most of your time except for your Marguerita Bashes. What a bunch of clowns! Just a sorry bunch of sore losers who will lose again in November tha is if you can find someone from your little band of whiners to even run.

  23. Dave says:

Seems like “Harry Truman” has been reincarnated as “knotu”!!! It’s the same montonous, mindless, moronic drivel by someone who has no regard for truth. Truman, get a life! You don’t address the real issues – you only focus on sniping. It shows how much of a depraved and deluded human being you are.

  24. knotu says:

Would be nice if you girls got the facts correct in the first place, but then again I guess that is what happens to the mind after so many brews and margueritas. Have yet to see a correction to your continued mistakes. Keep talking amongst yourselves ladies because no one else really cares what you have to say. Just a bunch of poor losers. Wished it was November so you could take another beating by the voters of the County who will reject your candidates once again.

  25. startup says:

I just got some info on this page, i think it is grate .i think that any one that is in office should hold that office for only 8 years .we need some one in office that cares about cumberland county .i helped mcquade when he ran for freeholderin o7-o8 he is a good man and cares about cumberland county ,and he loves the city he lives in, i think he would do his best as freeholder, but i will be keeping my eye on this page for now on i love it .

  26. Evans says:

I’m intrigued by this Lou Lou guy now. What amazing info on here about his wackyness. When are the county meetings on TV?

  27. Evans the County meeting’s are Sunday night At 8pm on cable. In the Hopewell area it,s on channel 9.But you want to check channel 2 also.Start looking on Monday night the county is buying time so each Dept can come on and talk about what they are responsable for.Good Luck.

  28. Evans says:

    Alex
Not on at 8:05 Sunday, ch2 or ch9 , I’ll check tomorrow night, thanks. I did get to see Com Shannon (Millville) in a Goofy hat on ch 2 though so that was worth tuning in for.

  29. knotu says:

Hey Evans certainly don’t believe anything you read on this forum. Watch the meetings and learn. This is as bad as the Republican show that Dragotta and D’Arrigo have on Saturday. Just more Republican Magazzu haters who only get half the story and spin things the way they want. Just more “sore losers”. They will be even madder when Ms, Gloria loses in November because of her past mistakes and her greed.

  30. Evans says:

Knotu, are you saying not one phrase or sentence on this site is credible?

Well anyway, last night I saw Mr Magazzu supporting 2009-??, read at the last meeting asking federal legislators to support the Stimulus bill. I don’t support that, and I consider his comments silly. I’ll watch. The following items have perked my attention: County taxes are high, the surplus, and the Courthouse construction mess.

  31. knotu says:

Just saying almost all of the info on here is slanted to attack Magazzu and defeat him in November . That is not going to happen. The guy works hard and the forum was founded by a bunch of ‘sore losers” from the Holly City. Disgruntled D’s and miserable R’s . Add that to the Saturday Dragotta and D’Arrigo Comedy Hour and you wind up with blurred vision. Be careful here and don’t drink the Kool Aid. Just a bunch of whiners and complainers with no guts to put their name on a ballot.

  32. Evans says:

    Dragotta and D’Arrigo? Do tell.

  33. knotu says:

Seem to be just a couple of shrills for the R’s. The whole radio station seems very biased. But they are amusing know it alls. Only present the view that suits them best. Right wing sort of stuff from two mostly uninformed wannabes. Will defend R’s till their death including the former genius George W. Bush. Don’t disagree or they will cut you off the air.

  34. Evans says:

Bush was bad for the USA. What radio station and time?

  35. Evans says:

    What radio station?

  36. knotu says:

The WVLT Comedy Hour from 11-12 on Saturdays. Same old George W. Bush followers pushing nothing but Republican views. When someone disagrees with them they usually just cut them off or try and talk over them. Does make for entertaining and comedic listening though, especially if the weather is bad and you are stuck in the house. Usually same old callers saying the same old thing. Only funnier show was when Sauro was on the air. Don’t know what happened to him after his last crushing defeat. He seems to have finally received the message from the voters of Cumberland. Guess his rants on his former show weren’t very effective and perhaps turned voters against him. Bet the Dems are hoping people listen to these shows as it certainly seems to help them win elections in Cumberland.

  37. Evans says:

I only caught a few minutes and it was during a medical mari conversation. I can’t give much opinion on them yet.

  38. Actually, Dragotta only ever hung up or cut off two people. That is not how he works.

So please, discuss politics, but why do you have to resort to lies every time you open your mouth.

For the record, Alex hung up on a woman that we believe was Republican, and she began using vulgar language. To me, that is a reason to hang up. The FCC does not approve of such language.

The other time, I don’t think Alex actually hung up, he ran out of time. His guest that day was Jeff Van Drew, and guess who the caller was?

  39. knotu says:

Sorry but he has hung up on Magazzu and has cut others short when they disagree with D & D’s point of view. D’Arrigo and Dragotta, the D & D Comedy Hour, perhaps or maybe they could or should rename the show D&D for Dumb & Dumber

  40. Actually, I think you may have blown your cover. Are you too spineless to post under your true identity?

As I understand the situation, Alex went to commercial when Lou was being long-winded and really pissing off the guest that day.

It was the guest that told Alex to cut Lou off. But the only people that would know this story are those that are closely involved, The caller, the guest, the radio station employees.

Now, I know you are not one of the employees. I know that you are not Van Drew.

  41. knotu says:

Problem is obviously your understanding or obvious lack of. He has hung up or cut people short when it suits him. Who was the guest Lou was pissing off as you say? Maybe I should ask your buddy One Who Knows.. Funny show though, almost as funny as you.

  42. You tell me who the guest was. You won’t. Why? It would be real embarrassing. Should we play the tapes of the broadcast on this site? A stroll down Memory Lane with Lou acting the fool. And it is ALL on tape.

  43. knotu says:

No clue as to the guest and really doesn’t matter. Point is that the show is biased towrds R’s and that Dragotta has cut people of when they disagree with him and are getting the best of him. Play the tapes if you want or maybe One Who Knows aka “I Don’t Know S–t” will answer the question of the mystery guest, but then again who really cares. Hurry November when Magazzu crushes the opposition whomever that may be.

  44. knotu says:

By the way what ever happened to that other character who use to have a show on the radio. Forgot his name but know he was a candidate for something a few times. He was very funny too. Even funnier in my opinion.

  45. knotu says:

What was that guy’s name? He was so hysterical on his show. Really miss him. Maybe he will run for something again?

  46. knotu says:

Was it Jim something? I forget. Just know he was hilarious on Saturday mornings.

  47. knotu says:

He was like Cumberland County’s own version of Rush Limbaugh!

  48. Evans says:

How lame, Monday night was a repeat!

  49. knotu says:

    Where’s Waldo? Where’s Jimbo?

  50. knotu says:

Hey Dumb and Dumber back on the radio? AD and AD comedy hour is back up and running with their garbage. How funny these two are!!!!

  51. knotu says:

Hey the Republicans are taking over the airways at WVLT. Starts with “Jimmy the Mouth” knowing everything at 9am and finishes with “Dumb and Dumber” aka Dragotta and D’Arrigo at 11am. Voted “funniest and dumbest” shows on radio by three (count em) THREE losers who have run for office in the past. Word has it some have even been rejected by their own party in the past. So funny to hear them actually hang up on people who point out when they are wrong, which is more often then not. Legends in their own minds!! They perhaps should debated each other, that would be hilarious!! Perhaps we all could vote to see who is Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest? Would be a tight race between these brain sturgeons?

  52. vinelandresident says:

What a joke of a blog. I love the sites that claim to be “non-partisan” but contain nothing but partisan hackery.

  53. Tiredofitall says:

Very funny site.. nothing wrong with holding our Political hacks to task, lord knows they all have been robbing the public blind

  54. Gregory Lane says:

If those who want to have Mr. Maguzzu back on the Board, fine. As Dirty Harry (a movie
character played by Clint Eastwood) said, “Make my day.”

If one of the reasons why a lot of people don’t care about voting happens to be
controlling and polarizing folks (er, crooks) like him in government, I can understand
why. Because I do not plan to vote in another election if Lou is reelected. In my opinion,
    if the voters who vote-by-mail & in-person
vote him back into office, why should I vote if a bunch of voters who act like puppy dogs
on the end of a leash vote in Mr-MaGoo-types and the like.

If the voters appreciate the NJ Motorsports Park, have your white dinosaur and your
overmodulated noise. I would rather have peace-and-quiet; not a noisy, nasty,
city-slicker-project like that track-not in a wooded area, not in this county. Leave it in
the big city somewhere, not in wide open spaces.

Since Lou and his team brought this race track here, it has been
suggested in some circles that he is trying to build his base of voters based on this
project which although fraught with good intentions, made him the controlling and
domineering fellow critics like myself stated he became.

It is my turn to say this: Lou, the lack of civility you and your team have shown at
freeholder meeting accounts I’ve read recently are nothing short of unprofessional,
insidious, a circus, etc. and you and your team turned my home of 50 years into a
collection of political-puppy-dogs that would be best described as the Mr. MaGoo-led Democratic
    Machine.

  55. Beans says:

Every once in awhile I take a peek at this site. I seen a lot of controlling that Magazzu does with his other freeholders. Magazzu seems to take care of his buddies and the public does nothing but elects him time after time. Magazzu seems to have one agenda on his mind and that is to have power in Cumberland County. Has Magazzu improved life in the county? I personally don’t see it. The county freeholders just keep the county running as always. I would like to become freeholder but I’m not good at public speaking. Maybe that’s all you need to become freeholder. Oh, maybe connections too.
Recently, I heard the county wants to have the county unions open their contacts. I never have seen anything in writing about it but I’m sure his going to blame them for part of the deficit. That’s great put the burden of the counties’ deficit on them. Imagine a person working for Cumberland County making a living and paying their taxes. Does anyone know how many county employees make under $50,000 a year and how many make over that? I don’t but $50,000 for a household is just making it in this county. Look at the money spent on part time employees receiving full county insurance benefits. I’m sure Magazzu has enough time in with the freeholders to have himself and his family on the county insurance, for life. All those new houses around Cohansey St. Bridgeton and Deerfield Dr. Seabrook sure do look nice. Maybe I’ll take a public speaking class and become freeholder then I could live in one of those nice beautiful houses in Seabrook because I’ll be able to qualify for one.

  56. wondering says:

I was just sent to this site and believe that discourse is very important for government but I have to wonder why you are based out of Bayonne but discussing southern jersey matter?

  57. WuLi says:

What makes you think we are based out of Bayonne? The principles behind this site are all Cumberland County residents, many of us for decades.

  58. wondering says:

You have a fax number based out of Bayonne? I’m sure its perfectly logical to have your faxes sent to Bayonne and then to have them resent to you but it seems alittle strange to me.

  59. WuLi says:

When the website was started, the people involved demanded anonymity due to the fact that Lou Magazzu is well known for hiring detectives and exacting retribution against those that would question the motives and legality of his actions.

I fell victim to his “scorched-earth” style of politics when I questioned his “biggest tax decrease in county history” which turned out to be a tax increase on almost everyone.

This forced us to acquire a proxy fax number – which is now out of service (note to myself – edit that page) – which would forward all faxes sent to an email account. We needed a way for people to send us information without exposing themselves or us.

Since that time, I have come out and identified myself (Carl B. Johnson) and taken over the role of moderating the website. The other principles are still very much involved, and they have a say in the operations – I just take care of the day-to-day stuff and serve as the public face of the site, and lightning rod.

  60. wondering says:

Thanks for clarifying. I have a feeling we may not agree on all things but I think its a shame when people can’t speak there mind without fear of retribution.

  61. Robin says:

Look at the money spent on part time employees receiving full county insurance benefits. I’m sure Magazzu has enough time in with the freeholders to have himself and his family on the county insurance, for life. All those new houses around Cohansey St. Bridgeton and Deerfield Dr. Seabrook sure do look nice. Maybe I’ll take a public speaking class and become freeholder then I could live in one of those nice beautiful houses in Seabrook because I’ll be able to qualify for one.
    +1

Maybe you should take a public speaking job, (and a few other courses while you are at it). People don’t get big new houses from Lou, they get them from buying them with their earnings or savings or inheritance etc. You obviously don’t have a clue or you wouldn’t have written such a lame entry. But don’t fret, you are solid material for this site since you are easily caught up in the emotion of the situation, not the reality.

“People don’t get big new houses from Lou, they get them from buying them with their earnings or savings “…

is that how Lou got his big house? Or did he pay for it out of his childrens’ inheritance?

Check it out, a right wing hit site full of baseless personal attacks and not even the scantest attempt at citations, thats based in North Jersey! I highly doubt you’d see retribution, but that sure fits your overall narrative well. If you people actually cared, you’d post citations and evidence to back up your assertions, but instead you are content to deal in rumors and half truths. I’m sure at least some of what you have posted is true, such as who donated to his campaign, but you heap on so much speculative bs that this entire site can be rejected outright.

By the way, this is my real name, and I live in Vineland, unlike the cowards from North Jersey who run this site.

  65. WuLi says:

Hey Michael – you are clueless. Take some time, and read back two years to when this site was created – created by two long-term, hard-core Democrats and one Republican. Our support group of contributors – behind the scenes – it Democrat to republican two-to-one. If you are going to accuse us of partisanship – get your facts straight ans choose the right party to blame!

This website has posted documents and links to stories verifying our assertions. We even use “gasp” Lou’s own words. How personal!

We are based in Cumberland County – you dolt. I have been a Millville resident since 1969. So who is it that is dealing in half-truths? Next time you post – make sure to get your facts straight. We have supporters from all of the townships, and the three cities in the county. Most of our most ardent supporters have worked closely with Lou, and supported him at one time.

Retribution? Two of us on this site have experienced retribution from Lou. I cannot expect to receive fair-treatment from the county sheriff – he has proved that he will lie to the public and media concerning me. I have all of the documents to support that claim – Bob Austino is a liar – and if that were not true, then you can be sure that I would have been on court by now for slander.

Next time you chime in, get the facts so that you won’t end up looking like the total idiot that you are.

  66. Bridgeton Gary says:

Michael, give it up. You are dealing with people who have the time and desire to hate in a religious sense. They may have had their “reasons” for starting this blog but they have succumbed to the same thing that affects pro athletes, they have started believing their own hype. Now every other opinion is wrong and they are blind to all facts that don’t line up with the “I hate Lou” manifesto. Carl is right about the site being generated in Millville. Everyone knows it. What Carl doesn’t say is that the Blog was co-opted long ago by the Republicans in the county who have played Carl and company on the theory that common enemy’s make us temporary friends. Carl has been used by the regular Republican party, by the dissenting Democrats,by the liberal Independents and by the arch Conservatives. And don’t forget that Carl has also been abused by Lou and the unholy alliance between Lou and certain ex-legal Republicans and certain current legal Republicans. So you see, you will not win this debate unless you bring a hand grenade to the meeting.

  67. Dan says:

Great Site! Thanks for all the hard work! I too have seen and felt Lou’s intolerance for anyone who differs with him!

  68. Jon says:

Great work and hope that this type of effort can grow around NJ to expose others… let’s focus on his illegal activities so that he can be removed and put in jail to join the many other NJ politicians …. what happened to the zeal from Christie the prosecutor???

  69. Slappythedoorman says:

Mission Accomplished!! Go away Lou and get your hatchetman lawyer outta here.

  70. Yvonne Fan says:

What a bunch of losers here. Why do you guys think your little shitville in the middle of Nowhere (NJ) is so important. You elected these people, deal with it in an adult manner. Kids.

  71. Rxx says:

lotta stupid and incoherent bs here

  72. Wildwitch says:
